SAILHARD Sheets and Plates are made from carbon manganese steel, specially alloyed to provide excellent hardness and resistance to abrasion. Their typical chemical makeup features elevated levels of carbon (up to ~0.25–0.30%), manganese, and trace alloying elements that enhance strength. These plates typically reach a hardness level between 200–250 BHN, offering robust wear resistance. They also boast good tensile strength, dependable yield strength, and sufficient elongation for fabrication.
